ELIZABETH BLANCHARD

Elizabeth is an English artist born in the Southwest of the UK. Originally growing up in Devon, she has now settled in Cornwall and feels very fortunate to be able to call this beautiful area of the country her home.

Elizabeth studied at Plymouth College of Art & Design before studying Marine Sciences at Plymouth University. This combination of art together with a fascination of the sea, lead to her works; embodying images designed to evoke feelings towards the power of nature, to draw you in to the new realities that exist within the depths and details of the mediums she uses.

​Working as a resin & mixed media artist, Elizabeth enjoys the unpredictability of working with fluid mediums. She uses her experience and understanding of the chemical reactions that occur, to manipulate the creative artistry.

Prior to becoming a full time artist, Elizabeth worked for over 12 years in the Superyacht industry as a Chief Stewardess & Purser. Developing a keen eye for interior aesthetics, it is now her goal to bring beauty into peoples homes in the form of not only her art, but also handmade placemats & homewares.
